40-year-old Jimmy is growing up, or at least he's getting older. Let's take a grain of rice in a mouth and watch the rice grow with pleasant music. We learn about rice in a fun way. An animation of the process of eating rice (rice growing, rice planting, rice harvesting, rice cooking). The animation is based on the exciting music of the South Indian instrument Parai.

In an unknown time when everything is colorless, the world pale and desolate, everybody is born with similarly pale white skin. There is absolutely no sign of color in this world at all. However, one boy is born with yellowish skin. Everybody treats him like some sort of monster, and the boy lives in isolation, in the woods with his mother. The year he turns 16, the boy's depressed mother, unable to bear the seclusion, commits suicide. The boy blames himself for her death and dreams of becoming a normal pale-skinned person.

From 2019 to 2022, director Sarah Vos followed Rein Wolfs, the new director of the Stedelijk in Amsterdam, and his team as they attempt to resolve the lack of gender diversity of the museum, in which 90% of the works of art of the vast collection had been made by white men. To correct this imbalance, the museum allocated 50% of its budget to buy works by non-Western artists and diversified its hiring practices. The film documents meetings in which issues such as racial, ethnic and gender representation are addressed, as well as the adoption of appropriate language: should “sex worker” replace “prostitute” in certain titles? They conduct research in the archives of art by women artists, often not even catalogued, and work to rearrange the collection along a new thematic path to contextualize the cultural, historical and religious circumstances in which the works ware created. White Balls on Walls shows the successes and failures of this difficult process. Poking fun at the entertainment industry as well as Asian stereotypes, this independent comedy co-stars Pat Morita, Martin Kove and Dean Haglund.

In August, 1918, Matsuura Ito lives in a coastal village of Toyama with her husband and three children. During the summer, there wasn't much fish to catch, so her husband has been far away from home to catch fish. To support herself and her children, Ito carries goods from ships like the other women in the village. Meanwhile, the residents encounter rising prices for rice. The women are unable to feed their family due to the high prices of rice. The women ask a nearby rice store to sell rice at lower prices, but it fails. The price of rice continues to rise daily. Due to an incident, Ito and the other village women step up to the plate.
